Background
The client was building a new production facility in Slovakia and wanted to develop a strategy for hiring and retaining employees.
Previously new starters were selected by an external recruitment company and given to the teams. Many of these new starters were not suitable for the roles and the staff turnover was running at an unprecedented high level.
The client requested we develop a 6-phase strategy that would ensure selection of the correct candidates and train them to fulfil their roles prior to them working on the production lines.
Working with central HR team and the local teams we designed and developed the 6-phase strategy in order to ensure new recruitment turnover target was achieved.
The external recruitment company supported the design and standardisation of the first two phases.
