Our client is one of the world’s leading Pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisations (CDMO).
Supplying products and services to the Pharmaceutical industry including Solids, Semi-solids, Liquids, Inhalation, Injectable and Ophthalmic.
A deep history of developing, producing quality products and services since 1995.

Background
The client had a UK site which was under performing against their major KPi’s and was putting patient safety at risk due to product supply issues and having a significant negative impact on profitability.
Our consultants made an initial assessment of the current operational performance and used this information to develop a gap analysis and identify key focus areas within the company
Working with the local teams we built a site “Stabilisation” plan that was aligned to the site “Transformation” plan.
As part of the stabilisation plan, we developed the “Visualisation Reporting Room” with clearly defined governance and responsibilities for the on-site senior leadership team.
Twice daily Obeya visualisation meetings were held within the operations areas to address performance issues and give real time trouble shooting ability with clear actions and responsibilities. These shop floor meetings were aligned to the daily SLT meeting metrics.
